The 6 categories of crime
There are 6 categories of crime. One is visible crime. It is an act that the public considers criminal. Some examples are shoplifting and homicide.
Victimless Crime: They are offenses against morality. It is a willing and/or private exchanges of goods or services. An example is gambling.
Occupational Crime: Are crimes committed within the content of a legal business or profession. An example is theft by the employees.
Organized Crime: Social framework or network within which criminal acts are committed. Some might include mafias and gangs.
Political Crime: Crimes committed against the government. Ex. Bombing and abortion clinic
Cyber Crime: A crime that involves the use of computers and the internet. Ex. Identity theft
